Save the Children is committed to meeting the most urgent needs of children at this time, including providing nutritious meals and distributing books and learning resources.

With an unprecedented amount of schools closed due to coronavirus, it’s expected that hundreds of thousands of students across the US will lose valuable learning time. In response to this urgent need to mitigate wide-scale learning loss, Save the Children and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry launched their #SAVEWITHSTORIES campaign to ensure kids can learn and get the nutrition they need. As the national leader in early childhood education, Save the Children will provide resources to kids whose schools are closed in some of rural America’s poorest communities.
