Returns & exchanges

What is your return policy?

We offer free returns on items not marked final sale. Returns must be shipped back within 30 days of the item’s ship date. Once we have received and processed your return, refunds will be issued via the original method of payment. Purchases made using a gift card or store credit will be refunded as credit to your Olivela account. Please allow up to 14 days for processing.

To qualify for a refund, all returned items must be in unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged condition, and in the original packaging with all designer, Olivela and seal tags attached. Packaging may include hangers, plastic wrap, boxes, dust covers and garment bags and must be returned undamaged. Cosmetics must be unopened to qualify for a refund. Items must be returned securely and shipped within a shipping box. We reserve the right to decline any returns that do not meet this criteria.

Can I return a pre-order?

Yes, if the pre-order item is not marked as final sale. Pre-orders follow our standard returns policy.

How can I return an online purchase?

Please select "Exchanges & Returns" from the bottom of the homepage. You will be asked to enter your order number to select the item you wish to return, and you will receive a free prepaid mailing label.

Can I make an exchange?

How long does it take to process a return?

How can I return an in-store purchase?

Items purchased in store may be returned to our retail store. Returns with an original or email receipt will be accepted up to 30 days from the date of purchase. What shipping methods do you offer?

We offer free standard ground shipping within the United States on all orders. Select items can be upgraded to express shipping for a fee.

Are expedited shipping options available?

Select items can be upgraded to express 2-Day or Next Day shipping for a fee. You can review each item's estimated delivery date at checkout.

Can you ship one of my items to a different address?

Each order can only be shipped to one address.

Will all my items be shipped together?

To ensure your order ships to you as quickly as possible, some orders may be sent in multiple shipments. In those cases, you will receive a separate shipping confirmation email with tracking.

Orders

How can I track my order?

As soon as your package is on its way, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. To view your order status and to track your package, log into your Olivela account for your order history.

How does pre-order work?

When placing a pre-order, the full amount is required at the time of purchase.The estimated delivery window for pre-order(s) is located on the product page and in your order confirmation email. Once the pre-order is ready, it is shipped directly to you from the designer.

How long will it take to receive my pre-order?

The estimated delivery window for pre-order pieces is located on the product page and in your order confirmation email. This window is provided by the designer based on when they expect to fulfill your order.

When will my order arrive?

Shipping times may vary per item. You can review each item's estimated delivery date at checkout. Some items are custom made to order and will experience an extended delivery window. You will receive a shipping confirmation email complete with tracking information as soon as your package ships.

Do you charge sales tax?

In accordance with tax law, sales tax is collected on orders shipping to Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. For orders shipping outside of the United States, duties, taxes and VAT will be calculated and charged at checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order once it has been placed?

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be modified. If you need to cancel your order or pre-order, please contact Customer Care at help@olivela.com or 855-454-2978 and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that cancellations may not be possible, and that once an order or pre-order has been prepared for shipment, it can no longer be modified or canceled. Items sold as FINAL SALE including pre-orders cannot be canceled.

What happens if I experience a brand initiated cancellation?

On occasion, designers have to cancel orders due to production reasons. If your order/item(s) have been cancelled, you will be notified immediately and refunded for the full amount to the original method of payment.

Do you offer gift receipts or gift wrapping?

We do not offer gift receipts or gift wrapping at this time.

Products

Do you price match?

Yes. If you find an item that we offer listed on a designated U.S. competitor’s website that is available and in-stock for purchase, we will match their listed retail price for the identical item of the same designer, size and color for up to 14 days after the date of original purchase. Please note that we are unable to price match from outlet, bankruptcy, auction, liquidation or flash sale sites. Any promotional discounts, rebates or coupons offered by other retailers are also excluded. Price matches will be issued as a refund after the order has been placed.

Will an item that is sold out come back in stock?

Once an item has sold out, it may not be restocked. Please note that many items are available for only a short period of time. Please contact Personal Shopping at personalshopper@olivela.com with questions.

Are items authentic?

All items on Olivela are received directly from the designer or manufacturer and are guaranteed authentic.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Shopify Pay.

What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?


When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into four equal, biweekly installment payments with 0% APR, or monthly installments with no hidden or late fees*.

Is there a limit to how much I can spend on a single Shop Pay Installments order?

Yes, 17,500 USD is the order value limit that applies to purchases using Shop Pay Installments, including discounts, shipping, and taxes.

Can I buy gift cards with Shop Pay Installments?

You can't purchase gift cards using Shop Pay Installments. If you want to purchase gift cards along with Shop Pay Installments eligible products, then you need to place two separate orders.

Are there late fees?

No, there are no late fees if you miss a scheduled payment.

What if I miss an installment payment?

There are no late fees for customers who miss a scheduled payment. However, partial payments or late payments might impact your credit score, or your eligibility to use Shop Pay Installments in the future. If you have questions about a missed installment payment, then you can contact Affirm support for assistance.

What if I make a return on a purchase made through installments with Shop Pay?

After your refund is processed, the refund amount will be applied to your original payment method within 3-10 business days and your balance will be updated.


If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, then it might not lower your next payment. Instead, you can expect fewer payments, a smaller final payment, or both.


If your refund is more than your purchase balance, then the difference is returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.


If your order is made with interest payments, then the paid interest isn't refunded. When you make payments, the funds are first applied to the accrued unpaid interest and then to the principal. Interest is the cost of borrowing, and isn't refundable.

International shipping & returns

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship orders within the contiguous United States as well as to Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Denmark and Norway. At this time, we cannot ship orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands or American Samoa. We are unable to ship to freight forwarding companies.

Where do products ship from?

Shipping origins vary. Our warehouse is located in the United States, however some items, including custom and made to order items, will ship to you directly from the designers themselves. Please contact Customer Experience at personalshopper@olivela.com with questions.

Gift cards

How do I redeem my gift card?

To redeem, apply it to your Olivela account at checkout. Once your gift card has been added to your account, you can then apply it to your purchase. Any remaining balance will be safely stored in your Olivela account for future use.

Where can I check the balance of my gift card?

Please contact Customer Care at help@olivela.com for information on your Gift Card balance.

Do gift cards expire?

Gift cards do not expire, nor do they accrue any service fees.

Can I cancel or return a gift card?

Gift cards cannot be canceled, refunded or exchanged for cash.

Can I return an item purchased with a gift card?

Qualifying purchases made with gift cards can be returned and will be refunded as credit to your Olivela account. Please see our return policy for more information.

How do I sign up for the rewards program?

It's easy. Simply create an account at https://www.olivela.com/register and enter your name, email and password. It’s free to join and you will automatically be signed up to receive emails with the latest Olivela drops, promotions and cause partner updates. If you currently have an account or email subscription with us, you’ve already been enrolled and can start earning points immediately.

What are the advantages of becoming a Change Maker?

Change Makers is a tiered rewards program that allows you to earn more benefits the more you engage with us. Members receive rewards points for each purchase that can then be redeemed on future purchases. You also earn points for referring friends, following us on social media, reading our latest content, and are even gifted bonus points on your birthday. I already have an account. Do I need to create a new one to earn rewards?

It's all been taken care of. All customers with an active account were automatically enrolled in our rewards program. If you have more than one customer account with us, please note that only one rewards account was created per person.

Can I earn points on gift card purchases?

Yes, you can earn points on gift card purchases.

REDEEMING POINTS

How do I redeem my points?

You can choose to redeem your points in two ways. You can either put them toward a donation to your chosen cause partner or for money off your next purchase (automatically calculated at checkout).

How do points convert to dollars?

Higher levels earn more points at a quicker rate, but 500 points always = $50. For example, at Level 1, you will earn 1 point for every dollar you spend. So, if you spend $150, you'll earn 150 points. When you move up to Level 2, you will be earning points 1.25 times quicker (spend $150→ earn 187 points). When you move up to Level 3, you will be earning points 2 times quicker (spend $150→ earn 300 points). Once you reach 500 points, you can redeem $50 off your next purchase of $250 or more, or donate to your chosen cause partner.

Will I be able to use my rewards points in store?

Absoutely. You can earn or apply points toward purchases at our Nantucket boutique. Simply sign in to your rewards account when you make a purchase.

How do I redeem my rewards points?

Once you get to checkout ensure you are logged in and you will see your total available rewards points. To use your rewards, select from the available rewards in the drop down. You must have a minimum balance of at least 500 points each time you would like to make a redemption. There is a minimum spend threshold when redeeming your reward, in addition to any relevant tax and shipping charges which cannot be covered by points.

How do I donate my points to a cause partner?

Simply log in to your account and select the donation from the rewards page at www.olivela.com/rewards

Can I use my points as well as a discount?

You cannot apply a discount and redeem a reward on the same purchase.

PROGRAM LIMITATIONS

Is there a limit to how many points I can earn?

No, and that’s the best part. You will always have the opportunity to earn more points by shopping, engaging with our site and community online, and through seasonal sales.

RETURNS

Can I return my order if I redeemed rewards points for a discount?

Yes. If you are returning the entire order, we will refund you the total dollar amount spent after the discount was applied. The points you used to redeem the discount will also be added back to your rewards account. For example, if you use a $50 discount on a $500 purchase that you return, the $450 balance will be refunded to your credit card and the $50 reward credit will be deposited back into your rewards account.

Can I partially return my order if I redeemed rewards points for a discount?

Yes. If you are partially returning an order, you will earn points only for the remaining amount. We will not return the points used to redeem the discount. For example, if you use a $50 discount on a $500 purchase and you return $250, you will earn 200 points.

I've earned points and moved up a level with my last purchase, but now I want to return it. What will happen to my reward?

Points earned will only be credited to your account after 30 days in order to reflect the returns period.

REWARDS EXPIRATION

Do points expire?

Points, rewards and your program level will expire if you fail to make at least one purchase every 24 months. If we ever decide to end the rewards program, your points and perks will expire with the program.

Why has my account been terminated?

We reserve the right to terminate a membership if we believe a person is violating our Terms and Conditions (found at www.olivela.com/legal), reselling products, exploiting the program, making excessive returns, engaging in fraud, abusing privileges or behaving inappropriately and seeking to manipulate the program, or for any other reason we deem necessary based on our sole discretion. If your account is terminated by you or us, or you opt-out, you will lose any unused rewards as well as all points that have not been redeemed.

PROGRAM QUESTIONS

How is my rewards level determined?

Your level is determined by the amount you spend in a rolling 12-month period. All customers are enrolled in Level 1. To reach Level 2, you must spend $1,001 - $9,999 in a 12-month period. To reach Level 3, you must spend $10,000 or more in a 12-month period. Once you qualify, you will instantly move up and have access to that level's perks through the rest of the year. As you move up, you will retain all benefits from the previous level.

How do I know which rewards level I am currently a member of?

When you are signed into your rewards account, your homepage will list the rewards levels. Your current level and benefits will be highlighted with a box around it.

What is exclusive access?

As a rewards member, you will get first access to exclusive capsule collections before the general public.

How will I know when I have reached a new level?

When your total points cross a threshold you will receive an email welcoming you to the new level.

Will my level expire?

You will be in Level 1, 2 or 3 for one year from the date you earned it. Make sure to keep interacting with our program to maintain your status (or even move up a level).

TROUBLESHOOTING

Why didn’t I earn points on my purchase?

Doublecheck that you were signed into your account and didn’t accidentally check out as a guest. You must be logged in when making purchases to earn points. If you have done this in error, contact us at help@olivela.com to apply your points retroactively. You won’t receive points if you return your purchase or your purchase is canceled for any reason. Please note that any points you earn on a purchase that you later return will be deducted from your points balance.

I should have earned points for a purchase/incentive but I didn’t see my account balance change. Did I get credit?

Points earned will be credited to your account after 30 days in order to reflect the returns period. Your ‘Rewards History’ will show you the number of points earned, how and when they were earned, as well as any redemptions of points made on your account. If you still feel like your points balance is not accurate, please contact help@olivela.com for assistance.

I received an error message when referring friends through the email referral box. What went wrong?

There are a couple of scenarios that could have triggered the error message. Perhaps there was a mistype in one of the email addresses that you entered, or you forgot to put commas between multiple emails to separate them. We recommend that you go back and enter each email address one at a time, clicking ‘send’ after each one rather than uploading them all at once. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact help@olivela.com for further assistance.

I’ve referred several friends but haven’t received any points for it. Is there something else I need to do?

Thank you so much for referring your friends. We really appreciate it. Referred friends must be a first-time customer in order for both of you to receive the referral rewards. In addition, the referral must be initiated through our rewards referral box on your personal rewards page, or through the use of your unique referral link also found there. Points will be added to your account as soon as your friend completes their first purchase on our website. When this happens you will receive an email letting you know that one of your referrals made a purchase using your code and that a reward was added to your account. You can also check your ‘Rewards History’ to see a list of any points you have received for referrals.

BIRTHDAY REWARD

How can I get a birthday reward?

Add your birthday under 'ways to earn points' at www.olivela.com/rewards. You'll need to register your birthday at least 30 days in advance. On your birthday, we will send you a special discount code via email that is valid for 30 days from the date of your birthday. *Your birthday code is non-transferable and may not be sold or assigned to anyone else. If we feel someone is trying to manipulate the program, we reserve the right to terminate their account at our discretion. Please read these rules (the “Official Rules”) before entering the Sweepstakes. By entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements set forth below.


1. Eligibility. Participation in the Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are aged 18 or older; or the age of majority in legal resident’s home state (whichever is older) at time of entry. Sweepstakes is void elsewhere and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Employees, officers and directors of Olivela (“Sponsor”) and its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, partners, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, all of the foregoing, the “Released Parties”), and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter. You are not authorized to participate in the Sweepstakes if you are not located within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.


2. Sweepstakes Entry Period. The Sweepstakes Entry Period shall run from 12:01AM ET on May 4, 2023 and end at 11:59PM ET on May 15, 2023 (“Entry Period”). The Entry Period is as stated above unless extended or shortened by Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion.


3. How to Enter. During the Sweepstakes Entry Period, the entrant must provide their email address and submit a short sentence speaking to the topic outlined within the competition guidelines.


Limit: One entry per person. (“Sweepstakes Entry Limit”). Any entries that exceed the Sweepstakes Entry Limit will be disqualified. Decisions of the Sponsor are final relating to all aspects of the online entry process and results. Sponsor may void any entry if entrant or related parties violate any of the terms and conditions attached to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules.


4. Random Drawing/Odds. One (1) winner (the “Winners”) will be selected from all eligible entries received during Entry Period. Winners shall be chosen at random. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry

Period. The random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor. By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.


5. Prize. Each participant will receive 100 Change Maker Loyalty Points within seven days of their submission. One (1) Winner will receive $500 credit to spend on https://www.olivela.com (the “Prize”). Sponsor will award the Prize only after the Winner completes the verification process. The Prize is not transferable, cannot be sold, is not exchangeable, is not redeemable for cash, and is void where prohibited by law. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the each Prize is $500. No substitutions or cash redemptions. The Prize will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received. All federal, state and local taxes and unspecified expenses are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Winner acknowledges that the Sponsor, Released Parties and all other businesses affiliated with this Sweepstakes and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of the Prize.

If the Winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days of first notification attempt, if Prize or Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if the Winner rejects the Prize, or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries, time permitting. Upon Prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Limit one (1) prize per person, per household.

In case of dispute as to identity of entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the cell phone number submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned the cell phone number by a provider, Any attempted form of entry other than as set forth above is prohibited; no automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. In case of termination, Sponsor will select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor.
